DIDPIP CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY Last updated: 20 October 2026 This page provides a simple summary of how cancellations, rescheduling and refunds work on Didpip. Full cancellation, payment and dispute rules are contained in the Didpip Terms & Conditions. If there is any difference between this summary and the Terms & Conditions, the Terms & Conditions take precedence, subject always to your statutory rights. FAN TICKET CANCELLATIONS If you choose to cancel a valid, unused ticket and the ticket is eligible for cancellation: - The Didpip booking/service fee is non-refundable. - Applicable non-refundable payment-processing costs may also be deducted where permitted. - The remaining eligible ticket value will be refunded to you. - You will be shown the refund amount before confirming your cancellation. Once a ticket has been scanned and marked USED, it cannot normally be cancelled or refunded through self-service. Nothing in this policy affects consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. IF THE GIG IS CANCELLED If the Venue/event organiser cancels the whole event — including after an Act/Band cancels — every ticket holder receives their full original payment back, including any booking fee they paid. Didpip returns its entire ticketing fee. The Venue/ticket seller bears Stripe's non-refundable card processing cost. It is never deducted from your refund. Refunded tickets can no longer be used for entry, and ticket holders are notified. If an act cancels but the Venue finds a replacement and the event goes ahead, your ticket stays valid and you will be told about the line-up change. Your existing refund rights and refund-request route still apply. IF THE GIG IS RESCHEDULED Where a gig moves to a new date, your valid ticket will normally move with the gig. Where available, you may then be offered: KEEP MY TICKET — attend on the new date. DIDPIP CREDIT — receive eligible value to use towards another eligible Didpip ticket. REFUND — receive the eligible amount back to the original payment method. The options and amounts available will be shown to you for the affected gig. FREE TICKET TRANSFERS If you cannot attend, you may be able to transfer a valid unused ticket to another person free of charge. Once successfully transferred: - Your original ticket and QR code become invalid. - The recipient receives the valid replacement ticket/QR. - No refund or new payment is required. Didpip does not currently operate a paid ticket resale marketplace. ACT/BAND BOOKINGS Booking an act through Didpip is free. Didpip charges no booking fee, cancellation fee or no-show fee on act bookings, and never automatically collects a performance fee or penalty. A Venue or Act/Band can cancel a booking through Didpip; the cancellation is recorded, both diaries are updated and the other party is notified. Rescheduling is offered as an alternative wherever appropriate. An Act/Band cancelling does not automatically cancel the whole event. An individual act withdrawing from a multi-act event does not cancel the event. Bookings where money was collected under earlier Didpip terms keep their recorded financial terms. EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES Didpip recognises that genuine emergencies happen. Where cancellation results from serious or exceptional circumstances outside a user's reasonable control, the affected party may request an Exception Review. Didpip may remove strikes or no-show labels where appropriate. This does not automatically remove obligations relating to ticket refunds or other money already owed. REFUND PROCESSING Where a refund is due, Didpip will initiate the refund through the applicable payment provider. Once a refund has been submitted, the time taken for the money to appear in your account can depend on the payment provider, card issuer or bank. Didpip cannot control external banking processing times. FEES MAY CHANGE Didpip's ticketing and promotion charges may change from time to time. The rules and fees applying to a confirmed booking are those agreed and recorded when that booking was confirmed. Current applicable charges will be displayed before entering into a new transaction. NEED HELP? If you have a problem with a specific booking, cancellation or refund, please use the relevant Didpip booking or dispute tools where available. For anything else, contact Didpip using the support details provided on the website. For the complete contractual rules governing cancellations and refunds, please see the Didpip Terms & Conditions. TICKETS BOUGHT FOR UNDER-18s Didpip accounts are for people aged 18 or over, and a ticket for someone under 18 must be bought by a parent or guardian. Any refund is made to the original payment method, so it goes back to the adult who paid rather than to the young person attending.
